I am making a felt curtain and want to have a solar cell charge a battery that goes to a light sensor that turns on several leds (not sure how many) when it gets dark. I have been compiling the components but am not sure how to tell what light sensor i need and how many leds will one AA battery run. I know nothing about electronics but have made a few pins that light an led bulb run from a button battery. Any advice or a pointer to resources would be appreciated Did I miss this in the Fashioning Technology book.

I haven't read this blog post yet but it was featured on the arduino.cc website. It looks like there'd be some learning curve if you don't have much experience with electronics but hereyago anyway: http://roamingdrone.wordpress.com/2008/11/13/arduino-and-the-taos-t...
I love steep learning curves. Thanks I will read this in a bit. Now I am thinking of using the lilypad.
oh yes....arduino is gold. arduino.cc has some great tutorials for getting started.
