Hi Giuliano!
This "light thread" is electroluminescent wire. It is made of a material that lights up as current passes through it. Outside this core there is some transparent polymer material. It exists in many colours and different thicknesses.

Hi Elisabeth. Really good this 'light thread'.

I started a project involving sound and wearable here in Brazil at University of Sao Paulo. I'm interested about this theme, specially in your post. It's comming some ideas but nothing special. UNtil now I'd only searching materials and process to bild something. I'm interested in this "light thread". You know how it's work?
