What do you make? (please answer so I know you're human & not a bot)
I'm just starting, but most of my crafts have to do with teaching materials, or at least that's the direction I'd like to start moving into. I knit (that's a long-standing one in my life), draw (I'm practising my digital drawing skills) and have begun to make basic origami figures. I learned of this Network after watching one of your members' video at Vimeo (Angela Sheehan) and I hope to learn more about making crafts so I can start organizing crafts projects with my learners.
About Me:
I live in Argentina and have been a language teacher for about 15 years (I teach English to speakers of Spanish). My students' ages, in those 15 years, have ranged from kinder to 60+, and their language level from beginner to advanced. I'm self-employed and some of my professional interests include developing reading and writing skills, blended learning, the brain and learning and fostering autonomous, life-long learning.
My personal interests include reading and writing, dancing, watching TV&films, learning, and (recently) photography and video making. The website I'm including below is the one for my main blog, but in terms of crafts you may be interested in seeing my approach at this other blog : http://our-journey-journal.blogspot.com
You're also quite welcome to visit my other, more light-hearted blogs Journey Journal (dedicated to fictitious journeys of various kinds and a work in progress still) and Musings (part blog, part scrapbook)
