Maybe I'm missing something, but where does the 3D printing come into play? I see UV-ink-printed fabric, but no digitally-designed 3D structures or elements.

12 meters? That sure is a long cord... are you sure it's not 12 feet? Also, it looks like a small CFL bulb inside an extra glass casing to me, like the ones they sell at IKEA.

Am very interested in following this work ... I'm don't sew (yet) , but know some excellent sewing folk who are of technical bent. I'm interested in the gadget end of things, so I'm hoping to team up with someone soon for projects.
