Following the lead of artists such as Madonna and Kanye West, U2's Bono is the latest performer to embrace tech-infused illuminated stage costumes.

For their 360° Tour 2009,Moritz Waldemeyer, the technologist extraordinare who created the innovative stage outfit for US rock band OK Go, has once again delivered a remarkable piece of fashion and technology with his Laser Jacket.

The black leather jacket, worn by Bono for his encore performance of ‘Ultra Violet (Light My Way), was infused with 240 lasers along his silhouette, radiating his every movement.
