Lately I've been focusing a lot on the fashion and technology. This week I'm going to shift my focus to craft and technology.

To begin the week, I found this inspirational craft project by designer and artist Betz White. Betz created this wonderful retro tech-inpsired laptop case as a gift for her brother.

Made from 100% wool felt, the case is designed to wrap around the laptop and closes in front using velcro.

The image above shows the simple construction.

The back is about 1/4" longer in length and width than the laptop.The bottom flap is the same with an additional 1" added to accommodate the thickness of the laptop. The top and black flap are the same with 2" extra top to bottom since it has the extra overlap in the front. The side flaps are long enough to overlap an inch in the middle when it's all folded up.
