Angela Sheehan

Hello Everyone,
I'm thrilled to welcome Fashioning Technology's FIRST guest blogger Angela Sheehan.

She is fortunate enough to be attending the TEI Conference which begins next week on Jan 25 and will be covering the conference for all of us who can not participate.

Angela is an avid maker, crafter, and DIY enthusiast with an interest in soft circuits and wearable technologies. She is the creative behind the brilliant DIY Lady GaGa Video Glasses and Interactive Formal Wear.

She first started experimenting with soft circuits during a physical computing course while studying at Bennington College. She then collaborated with Rebecca Grabman (www.pineapplegirl.net) , another tech-lover (and costume designer), to create a series of experimental and playful garments titled 'REACTIVEfashion'.

Recently Angela started Soft Circuit Saturdays to document and share her continuing explorations in the field.

When she is not playing with electronics, Angela runs a business making whimsical houses and bedding for pet chinchillas at TheFuzzDepot.com.

Follow Angela on twitter to hear musings on the conference.

Anyone going the TEI conference should check out the demo of Aeolia made by Fashioning Technology member Sarah Kettley and her crew. Here is a link to a little sneak preview:
