Hello Everyone,

I am exciting to introduce you to Melissa Coleman who will be guest blogging for fashioningtech from the Netherlands.

Melissa is the talented artist behind Media Vintage which includes the beautiful conductive braille tapestries that I wrote about previously.

She is an artist, teacher, curator and computer programmer working in The Hague, The Netherlands. Melissa’s work researches the human body, storytelling and technology. She likes to combine electronic textiles, old media, the performative body and sense augmentation. Together with Piem Wirtz she founded the V2_ E-Textile Workspace, a meeting point for wearables and electronic textile designers in Holland.
