Hi Meg,  thx for your comment, just added another picture :).... as a weaver I use the most different yarn I can find and would love to work out even more  steps with the conductive yarn.... ( anybody up for doing that part?)  yes, rubber could be as insulation, why not !!!

ooh, pretty!  what function does the rubber have?  elasticity?  insulation?  what will the end use be?  tell us more!  :)
