Developed in 2007 by
Sarah Kettley, Stille is an interactive textile collar which delivers intimate sounds to the wearer. The e-textile neckpiece is conceptually based on:
"the visual experience of Australia combined with the discussion and emotion experienced by local Canberran's in the midst of a serious drought."
The interactive collar plays sounds of crickets, distant rain, etc and the sounds are triggered by the movement of the neck.

I find Kettley's exploration of gesture rather intriguing. I think using one's head/neck as a vehicle to control electronics has novel potential in interactive performance wearables.
