Laser Light Fashion — Costume Inspiration #3

Laser Light Fashion

Want to emulate rock stars like Bono for Halloween?

You can make your own laser fashion this year with a handful of inexpensive laser pens. Looks like you can get them on ebay starting at 99 cents.

For inspiration, we turn to artist and design researcher Danielle Wilde who has designed a few laser light costumes as part of her research into wearable technology and performance.

What I enjoy about her designs is the positioning of the lasers along the curve of the spine, drawing emphasis to the subtle movements of the back. Plus the costumes look very reptilian-like.

Please share! When is Martha airing? Can we watch the episode online? Unfortunately I don't have a TV :-(. Let me know and I can share it with everyone here too.

This is super sweet, I am so re-posting... Also, I am making a really cool DIY for a doggie costume with fiber optics - I can't wait to share it with you and Fashioning Technology :)
