Reflective Fashion for the Urban Cyclist

Reflective Fashion

LEDs have taken center stage in the niche genre of safety fashion but with the arrival of Lost Value's reflective knitwear, Lflect, I imagine we will see more crafter's knitting sweaters and accessories with reflective yarns.

Reflective Fashion

The appeal of reflective knitwear for urban cyclists lies in its comfort, warmth and flexibility. And unlike garments lit with LEDs, you don't have the hassle of dealing with batteries.

Fortunately for those who neither knit nor crochet, Lost Values has a range of accessories from wooly hats to comfy scarves for sale. All the accessories are hand crafted in Scotland with local wool from the Highlands.

Find them oniline @ http://www.lostvalues.com/boutique/lflect.html" target="_blank">Lost Values

For those of you interested in reflective yarn, I will try to find an online retailer that has the yarn in stock. If anyone knows where to get reflective yarn, please let me know.

A Danish Association sells reflective yarn www.yarn.dk/whois.html in their catalog under Polyester page 7. I did use it for Jacquard hand weaving at the Lisio Foundation in Florence Italy.
