Tron: Quorra Costume

I think I possibly had the best Halloween ever! It's partly due to the fact that I had so much fun running around as Quorra for two nights in a row.

The costume is made from faux leather and EL Film strips. The luminescent panels are removable, velcored onto the leather vest in order to make the top washable. To be frank, the cutting and re-soldering the EL film was quite tricky to work with but I think I managed to the tame the beast with the help of conductive fabric tape. I will write up a tutorial on how to work with the EL film in the next three weeks for those folks who are interested. Meanwhile... here are the rest of the pics.

I happened to run across the Tron advertisement on Sunset so I thought it was a perfect photo op.

I completely understand! You are a very busy lady! I just wanted to be sure I didn't miss it if you did post it! Your photos and descriptions gave me some ideas and I think I've got a handle on it, but wanted to compare in case you had a chance to post it. Thanks for sharing your wonderful costume!

Syuzi, how many e.l. inverters did you need for your costume? How much el tape did you end up using? Which e.l. inverter did you buy? thanks :-)

I am making a quorra costume as well for several events this year - where did you get the EL tape and conductive tape? Thanks so much!

I love your costume!! I'm actually thinking of cosplaying Quorra for a couple of conventions this year. When are you posting your tutorial on using EL tape? Where did you buy the conductive fabric tape?
