Why is this important? Needless to say, I am always thrilled to find new visual explorations of how craft can intersect with technology. The merging of the craft of ceramics with electronics is a relatively unexplored area. I would love to see more artists and crafters working with ceramics explore ideas and concepts of how to integrate decoration with electronics. For example, I can imagine decorative silk-screened capacitance sensors on ceramic lamps as novel controls. via Designboom
